I don't think HS ECs count. Still, I think you a fair chance of acceptance. Not great, but with a strong essay and recs, you stand a respectable chance.

Best of luck :)

I think if you can get good letters of recommendations and have an outstanding essay you can get in, those Ec's blew me away:)

Wow, twenty8 we kinda both replied at the same time with kinda the same answer...LOL. But yes, high school EC's dont count, but your EC's still look good in college:)

Yo VTEngineer, why are you transferring from VT? I might end up transferring there next year, anything you didnt like there?

tech doesn't look at anything except college gpa and the courses that you've taken for transfers

I absolutely love Virginia Tech but my family is moving to Georgia...so I'd rather be closer to my family if at all possible.

Sorry for posting my lame HS stats..

So everyone thinks that I have a decent chance for being accepted to GT Engineering (non GPA restricted)?

Thanks for all of the feedback...keep the responses coming.

Bump.......

Hey, did you have to take the required courses, calculus I and II? Also, English I, II, and a science lab and lecture? Do you know what kind of courses they are looking for in someone's schedule?
