Hi,
My friend am applying to transfer from Colby College.
HS GPA: 3.55
SAT: 750/680/800
1st semester college GPA: 4.00
Was rejected from Georgetown and Brown regular decision.
Chances?
Is one strong semester enough to get into one of these school, or will they still focus more on his high school GPA?
Also, I'm assuming that larger schools like Tufts have more space for transfers than smaller schools, so that should help?

also, he went to a top new england prep school with grade deflation.
