Transfer chances to UIUC??

Hi all, this is my first post so sorry if it's not in the right thread or too long and detailed or something...
I currently attend a Community College in Illinois and UIUC is my dream school. I'm applying to transfer into the Agricultural and Biological Engineering major which is ranked #1 in the country so I'm pretty nervous. Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.9 (hoping to bring it up after this semester's grades) with 41 credit hours. (I got a B in engineering statics)
EC's: Member of social justice club and vice president of our Phi Theta Kappa chapter (an international Honors society). Also in the Honors Program since my first semester.
SAT: 590 CR/ 740 WR/ 780 M
jobs: I'm a Mathematics tutor at my school and a store clerk on weekends
high school: I did not attend high school in the states and moved here about a year ago but my overall GPA from Iran was about 18 out of 20. We also have no such things as Extracurriculars over there..(will this hurt my chances?)
Research: I participated in two research projects related to Engineering in my first year and now I'm in charge of he Phi Theta Kappa Honors project which is related somewhat to science and mathematics fields.
Last year I placed 3rd at my school annual math competition

Te one thing that worries me most is that I don't have chemistry grades on my transcript (except for an introductory class). I'm going to take Chemistry 1 in the spring and Chem 2 over the summer and I listed that on my application, but is this gonna hurt my chances??

I think that's about it..I don't know, what do you experts at collegeconfidential think? Are my chances realistic or slim to none? I'm also looking at private institutions out of state such as URochester so if anyone has suggestions for that I'll gladly take them

Also, I've already sent in part of my application but i'm thinking of calling them to change a LOT of things because I was unfamiliar with the process when I started writing it and left out half of my accomplishments...

Engineering advisors at UIUC told me that the #1 thing they care about is GPA for transfer students, and you’re fine in that regard. I think you’ll be accepted without any problem.
