Chance me please?

Private school in SF Bay Area
HS GPA: 3.1
ACT: 26
First Semester GPA: 3.75

Schools i am applying to

University of San Diego
Villanova University
Boston University
American University
Fordham University

BU- easy. AU- um,easy. FU- eh … Villanova- tough.

Thanks for the input, any opinion on USD? And how about Northeastern University?

bumpbumpbump

Northeastern is bit tougher than AU but not impossible. they’re just stingy with financial aid. idk anything about USD, but might be an indicator that its not really tough.

alright thanks for the help, anyone else have input?

any more input?

I transferred to American with a higher GPA but you’re GPA is pretty good. If anything, they may ask for your second semester grades before making a decision. Just a warning for AU, they’re raising tuition and room and board and aren’t great with financial aid.

thanks for the help, does anyone else have a guess?

I’d say from that list USD might be one of the toughest, up there with Villanova and maybe BU. I know they are selective and they are a very good school.

thanks, anymore thoughts?

Hey I’m applying for admission to American as a transfer student. I was wondering if I have a chance at getting in? I graduated high school in May of 2010, but I already have about 54 college credits. My GPA is 3.92 and I have 3 1/2 years of working experience and a couple of other extracurricular activities. I was also wondering what the campus life is like at American. If you could shed some light on this that would be great.

Hey,
I am at NYU and my GPA is currently a 3.11 after the first semester
My highschool GPA was a 3.5

SATs. M-750 W-640 Cr-670

I was accepted into Villanova last year out of highschool after being deferred from EA.

What are my chances of getting into Villanova?

Campus life at American is alright. It’s verrryyyy politically active, especially for lefties. I’m not into politics so sometimes I feel like it’s being pushed on me, but if politics is your thing, you’ll love it. That’s really the only major difference between AU and the other colleges I’ve been to. Also, in regards to the number of credits you have, if AU has already accepted all of your credits, then great but since you have over 35 credits you aren’t guaranteed on-campus housing. I don’t know if that affects your decision in any way.
