Ok, so I applied to GA Tech and was accepted into the Engineering Alliance Program, where, if I were to accept, I would attend Armstrong Atlantic State University for two years, then complete my remaining two years at Tech, and graduate with a Tech degree. I was also accepted by UGA.

Now, I understand that with the Alliance Program, I am guaranteed a transfer to Tech for my last two years, but how probable is it to transfer from UGA to Tech after a year of study? Let's say I finish 30 hours with a 3.5 - 4.0 GPA, and my current SAT is an 1830 superscored.

that is exactly what i wondered I got 1880 superscored and i also got aasu offer.

Your SAT score is not considered for transfer admissions, only GPA and classes taken. It would be very easy to transfer to Tech with a high 3’s GPA from UGA provided that you’ve taken the correct courses for your major and that all courses transfer (not all courses from UGA transfer to GT).

The advantage of the AASU program is that they tell you what classes to take, so all you have to worry about is the GPA. At UGA, you would have to worry about the class selection, as well. But as long as you keep on top of things, it shouldn’t be an issue.

What about not being able to intern first year at UGA, whereas you can at AASU? Does this really have a significant impact on future employment and or wages from just losing a year of internship?

And if I transfer from UGA, will I be behind in my major when I arrive at Tech, even if I’ve taken all the prerequisites for my major? (assuming all my credits transfer)
