Transfer Chances?

<p>Hey all,</p>

<p>I threw my hat into the ring several weeks ago and received notification that all my supporting materials have arrived some 2-3 days ago. Below are what I have:</p>

<ul>
<li><p>International student from Singapore; fluent in English & Mandarin</p></li>
<li><p>27 credits, 3.22 GPA from Broward College, FL</p></li>
<li><p>Phi Theta Kappa member</p></li>
<li><p>2 years military service with Singapore Armed Forces (picked up plenty of knowledge about grand strategy, military intelligence, etc.)</p></li>
<li><p>18 months part-time employment and organized plenty of LAN gaming tournaments.</p></li>
</ul>

<p>Going for International Studies major spec. Security & Intelligence.</p>

<p>What are my chances of acceptance?</p>

<p>For transfer students, you have a very high GPA. People get in with 2.5’s all the time, OSU is only selective out of high school, they go easy on transfers.</p>

<p>I don’t know how being international will affect that though, but I think you have a very good shot, especially with your military service.</p>
