My high school record isn't that impressive but my college is (to some people). I am trying to get into NYU, BU, BC, Purdue, OU, SMU, TCU. Here are the stats:

Caucasian from Texas

Testing:
SAT - 1490 (the new SAT)
CLEP: Calculus - 78 out of 80 (tought myself in three months without taking PreCal)

High School:
I worked from 4-10 everyday after school so didnt have time for EC's
GPA: 3.2
Awards: Three Year Graduate, District Scholarship, Recommended Plan

College:
GPA: 3.75
42 Hours (by the time i was suppose to graduate high school!)
Extra blah blah stuff: Phi Theta Kappa, Habitat for Humanity for 8hrs on Saturday's, Meals-On-Wheels everyday from 1030am-12pm

Good recommendations, essay that was edited by the vp of a big marketing firm here in dallas (it is damn good)

Oh, and all of the places I have called say that they don't care anywhere near as much about SAT scores if you are applying as a transfer and they say not to take them again (it is pointless).

unfortunately yes. i had a long night before taking them and thought i would do better (did well in all of the practice tests in the practice books) but like i said, the schools i have called (nyu and bu) say that they dont focus on sat scores anywhere near as much as a transfer.

yea i was suprised at the clep but since it is graded right then and there i was so scared! i actually had the a friend of the family help teach me calculus (she is #3 in the class of 1200 and skipped her junior year). i think that the early graduation thing should help. i think if i explain that i have my head on straight now that i am in college instead of vice versa i might get a little bit of leniency but im not sure. i cant apply until midterms next semester so i guess i have to wait. nyu has a 31% transfer acceptance rate and it is my #1 school. after nyu comes bu, purdue, bc, smu, ou, tcu (it is only 15 minutes away).
