My ACT is a 30. Thanks again

^lol Political Science

A 30 is on the lower end of the acceptable range for most of those schools, which means that it will all come down to the essays and the ECs. It doesn’t seem like the second area is a particular strength for you, so really make the essays count. The only one on your list right now that I’d say you’d probably get into would be NYU, and they give terrible FA (speaking from experience) so be careful. I know nothing about Purdue West Lafayette, though, is that your safety? Also, I’ve never heard of Chicago accepting a CC student. Not saying it couldn’t happen, but it doesn’t seem to have happened recently. The rest are reaches as well. Definitely apply, but you might want to look into some other, less selective schools of similar caliber. American is a decent school that gives great merit aid for transfers and is in DC, if the city environment is something you’re looking for.

The all seem like reaches to me with the exception of Purdue, Vanderbilt, and U of W

Cornell
Georgetown
U of Michigan Ann Arbor
U of Wisconsin Madison
NYU
U of Chicago
Northwestern
Purdue West lafayette
Vanderbilt

you’re probably in at NYU, wisconsin, purdue. vanderbilt is definitely possible, although there acceptance rate was ~30% last year. a lot of people think vanderbilt is easy to get into because of the near 50% acceptance rate in previous years, but it has been going down. the rest are reaches. im not sure if Uchicago is community college transfer-friendly

I go to Vanderbilt (transferred), and I’d say you’re in, depending on how the housing situation goes after this year.

Cornell, NW, GTown, and Chicago are high reaches.
NYU, Wisconsin, Michigan (and Vanderbilt) are in the match/low reach area.
Purdue is a safety.
