transfer chances

canadian transfer, Queen's University
B+ avg in college (puts me roughly in the top 15-20% seeing how my school is insane)
Overall avg for HS is A-
Senior year - A+
Class rank - top 5%
graduated summa cum laude
ECs are alright, nothing extraordinary
very solid essays
no sats (the schools im applying to dont require for transfers)

chances at BC, GW, UMiami, Pitzer, Dickinson, Bucknell, Holy Cross

im originally american and my top choice would be BC but i doubt my stats are good enough - thanks alot

bump..........

buuuuuuuuuuuuump

anybody? My other concern is my gpa...what would a B+ avg be on a 4.0 scale? 3.3 to 3.5?

B+ = 3.33 in many schools

Try to apply to all of them. It wouldn't hurt you. I live near the University of Miami. You'll like it there if you're into the warm Florida weather. The academics will depend on your field of study. The social climate varies from person to person. But in my experience, the students have pride for UMiami.

Don't be surprised if you bump into the spoiled pretentous rich kids on campus. Good luck!

Knowing your sat's would help, but i think you should be a strong candidate to all the schools you listed for sure. BC will be tough, but I think you should get in.

timberland - hmm i get the feeling that i would be an average applicant at most of these schools...i think ill be below avg at BC...their avg admitted gpa is A- ish.
