I'm currently a (rising) sophomore at a private university in central New York looking to transfer to SLC. I have a 3.75 GPA, and I'm hoping to bring it up to a 3.8 before I apply. I'm in several extracurriculars/clubs and I am spending my summer doing some volunteer work.

I know high school records are generally secondary to college records as a transfer student, but if it helps: I had a 3.7 GPA at a college prep school, was in several clubs/honor society, and got a 26 on the ACTS (which is mediocre, but I'm not too worried about it given SLC's apparent lack of emphasis on standardized tests)

I know personal essays and recs hold weight in the admissions process (particularly with SLC), but based off grades alone, do I have a chance?
