So I’m in my first year of community college in NJ. I want to try and transfer to BC at the beginning of next year so i’d be a sophomore. For arguments sake, lets just say i have a 4.0 after my first year(planning on it). I’m part of phi theta kappa(greek assosciation), the radio club and the business c lub. I work 4 days a week and full time during the summer. A net price calculator through BC said that i would be paying 14k a year there bc of fin aid.
My high school stats are not that impressive…3.29 gpa with relatively hard courses, 27 act, few clubs few sports church community service. Im just wondering what kinda chances i have transferring into BC sophomore year from out of state with these credentials. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks

anyone? lol

seriously noone has an opinion…

One thing I’d do if I were you, is to retake the ACT to demonstrate that what I learned in the community college helped to pull the score up to where it’s competitive with other transfer applicants.

do you think my act is too low to get accepted as it is rn?

The BC fact book, on page 31, lists only SAT scores for incoming freshman. The middle 50% range for last year’s class was 1920-2135.

While there are a variety of SAT-ACT converters out there, an ACT score of 27 maps to about 1820 on the SAT scale.
