<p>Just sent my last form to Georgetown and i'm beginning my long wait to hear a reply. Any advice on my chances would be very much appreciated:</p>

<p>this semester i'm taking intro to psych, a world history course, intro to film, and another poli sci class</p>

<p>Well you have a strong GPA coming from a top university. SAT is probably a tad low but that isnt an issue. Georgetown's transfer acceptance rate is around 30% so its not too hard to transfer. I would say you have a really good shot if youre essays are strong.</p>
<p>Really, transfer chances are 30%? Thats great to here b/c im hoping to transfer--but from what Ive heard it is actually much much harder to transfer (to any school). Gtowns regular acceptance rate is roughly 22% are u sure that the transfer rate is about 30%? If so, where'd you get that info from?</p>
<p>i think the acceptance rate is based largely on the school you are trying to get into.. sfs has a must lower acceptance rate than the nursing school for example</p>
