Hey CC homies -

I'm currently a sophomore at Williams, and I applied to transfer last year - to UPenn and Cornell (both successfully) but ultimately stayed at Williams because I'm a scaredy cat. Well, this tiger never changed his stripes. So as the deadline for transferring approaches (i.e. as I do the application over Winter Break), I'd like to know if my application would be futile, essentially.

Schools I'm considering:
Columbia (undoubtedly first choice)
Yale
Stanford
MIT
UChicago

HS
SAT: 2230 (670 CR, 800 M, 760 W)
ACT: 34
SAT2s: 800, 750
AP Scholar with Honors, IB Diploma Recipient, other awards that mean nothing now
Valedictorian from a private school in NYC

College stuff:
Treasurer of Freshman Council last year, Exec board of the soph council this year, assistant treasurer of college council, CFO of the Investment Group, first generation advisory board member, member of qsu, tutor @ local elementary school, academic resources peer tutor for econ, calc 1, and calc 2, statistics TA, and tour guide.

GPA: somewhere between 3.61 and 3.67 after I get my grades for this semester.

Why I'd like to transfer?
Pretty much I got screwed over, there's no more Italian at my school and I still want to pursue it (my Italian prof here wrote a fab rec for me last year, so I'd assume he'd use it again this year). I'd say I could get a fab rec from my stats prof this semester as well. I also interned for a pretty well known bank last summer, and can easily get a sparkling recommendation from a director there.

Also, I'm first gen, gay, and my essays will probably be convincing because I'm kind of a conniving betch.

Objectively speaking, do I have a shot at any or all of the 5 schools I posted?
