Hello, I am considering transferring from the University of Redlands to a number of different schools. Colgate University, Boston College, and UNC-Chapel Hill interest me for a number of reasons. I currently have a 3.9 GPA at Redlands and made the dean's list, but my high school grades are pretty terrible compared to these schools' averages (2.9 GPA, 1890 SAT). I also had disciplinary action for a stupid act of vandalism that I was somewhat involved in. Would I have a shot at any or all of these three schools with that in mind or should I set my sights lower?

You can explain in your essay that how you grew and learnt from the act of vandalism. Try and act mature for it. BU might accept. You’re a low reach for it.
