Transfer Chances

I am applying as a transfer for the environmental economics and policy major. It is offered in both the LS college and in College of Natural Resources, do I have a stronger chance of acceptance at one over the other?

About how many lower division reqs should I have completed? I could pace myself and have 1 remaining by the time I enter, but that could strain my workload and GPA. Should I instead take elective courses and finish lower division when I enter.

<a href="http://students.berkeley.edu/files/Admissions/Transfer_07.pdf%5B/url%5D">http://students.berkeley.edu/files/Admissions/Transfer_07.pdf</a></p>

56% admit rate in L&S, 40% admit rate in College of Natural Resources. I would consider other issues over admission rate in this case.

lower division major prereqs are vital. igetc (if you're coming from a community college) is not so much, from my understanding. But get as much done as you can, now. You will have a much harder time completing the course work at Berkeley as classes will be much much much more difficult (again, assuming you're tranferring from a community college).
