<p>Current Courses (Winter Quarter)

Humanities Lecture
Independent Research (Brain Tumor Research)
21 Units this quarter, and I"m full steam towards a 4.0 (quarter ends 2 weeks after deadline, but i'll send in a report of my grades then as well, so my cum gpa will be a 3.97)</p>

<p>Now for my weak spots...
HS GPA 3.2 UW w/ 13 APs<br>
SAT I 2170
SAT II 800/730/630 (Math II, US Hist, Bio)
Had a decent smattering of ECs during HS, like Debate Team Co-Captain, but I was just bone lazy....</p>

<p>My Recs are going to be pretty good, both teachers writing them like me a lot, and my writing is fairly good. How do you think I stand?</p>

<p>reason for leaving uci: tougher? more intellectual atmosphere? wider breadth of classes, and also a better history dept than UCI ( i want ot double in bio and history )</p>

<p>most significant achievement: debate state quarter finalist, freshman mentor, national commended scholar, ap scholar w/ distinction, 2nd place state debate, and like 10 other debate awards</p>

<p>Because you are a freshman at UCI with only one semester of grades and a low HS GPA, I doubt it will happen this year. Maybe next.</p>
