<p>hey i was wondering if someone could help me about my transfer chances at gtown for fall 2008. im a freshman in the honors program at a large state university.</p>
<p>HS gpa: 3.9-4.0 W?
ACT: 35 english, 33 math, 33 reading, 30 science
prominent HS extracurriculars: co-editor-in-chief of school newspaper, co-president of chemistry club, group leader for NHS, close to 400 hours of volunteering, piano and flute (lessons, contests, recitals, etc)
HS awards: outstanding freshman instrumentalist, summa cum laude on the national latin exam (3 years), clarkson university achievement award, community service server of the month</p>
<p>college grades from summer semester:
ethics: B+
sociology: A-
projected college grades for fall semester:
honors chemistry: some sort of B
honors calculus: A
honors english: A
psychologh: A
flute ensemble: A
majors: int'l relations, english
college ecs: college democrats, possibly newspaper, english club, tutoring, and other community service
was waitlisted at georgetown for fall 2007, but didnt put self on the waitlist (and now really kicking myself for it)</p>
<p>illness affected my senior year grades and summer college grades, so i'll write a letter of explanation for that.</p>
