<p>I honestly do not have a strong grasp on where I stand with transfer admissions to the following schools:</p>

<p>NYU</p>

<p>Boston University</p>

<p>University of Washington</p>

<p>Brandeis U</p>

<p>UMass-Amherst</p>

<p>Clark U</p>

<p>My stats:</p>

<p>University of Hawaii at Manoa Freshman (currently in 2nd sem)</p>

<p>4.0 GPA in Honors program with 17 credits (12 being min for full-time student)</p>

<p>Deans list, marching/jazz/concert bands</p>

<p>Good rec.</p>

<p>High School Really good private school</p>

<p>3.4 GPA</p>

<p>SAT 1200 (640V,560M)</p>

<p>So...opinions please?</p>

<p>many of those universities, esp Ahmerst, nyu, and washington, dunno about boston are going to be definite reaches for. You're sat is too low, and your current university isn't exactly well known. Since your gpa seems fine, i suggest you retake the sat, and you may stand a chance. Your ec's aren't exactly stellar, but as long as you demonstrate a passion for them,i'm sure you'll be fine.</p>
