I'm a sophomore at Appalachian State but I'd really like to transfer to Carolina as a junior. After this semester is done I'll have around a 3.75 GPA and 56 hours. What do you guys think? Oh yea, my mom went to Carolina also.

no(10 char)

I have no idea, but a 3.75 GPA is nothing to sneeze at, and it's probably easier to get in a junior transfer than as a sophomore transfer. I wouldn't automatically say no to that. :\ Maybe michaeljackson knows something I don't.

damn, you didnt end up getting in last year? im sure youll be in this time. 3.75 is more than good enough (esp as a junior). i was waitlisted last year and im applying again. what do you want to major in.

i'd like to get into the business school....but i'm not going to apply for that right away because i figure it will be harder to get into. my major at app right now is international business with a minor in spanish...... why do you say no MJ

oh and jwintim, i had a 3.5 when i applied last year...... where do you go to school, what is your current gpa and what was your gpa last year when you got waitlisted? or maybe you applied out of high school?

im at nyu and applied with a 3.3 after 1st semester freshman yr. now ive got a 3.5 and will prob have a 3.6-3.7 at the end of this semester. i talked to someone last year and she said they didnt lake anyone off the transfer waitlist.
