transfer chances

I am looking to transfer to a top 100 school and wanted some help to see what schools I can get into. I am a business major at a community college in new york in my second year. In my first semester of college i attended suny albany and got a 3.5....after my first semester i left and have been attending a community college ever since and have maintained a 4.0. Also i am a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

some schools im interested in are....i was wondering if you can tell me my chances

-suny binghamton
-fordham
-georgetown
-miami
-boston college
-maryland-college park
-cornell (college of agriculture and life sciences)-have prereqs done by spring semester....heard als is community college transfer friendly
-nyu

high school gpa?
SATS?
ECs?

sat 1100/1600 but i dont plan on sending them if i dont have to
i talked to cornell and nyu and they said i dont have to send them my sat grades so thats in my favor, im pretty sure im only going to have to send them to georgetown, bc, and maybe fordham

4.0 hs gpa some AP classes and college spanish
was in about 5 or more different clubs/sports during high school now in college im in about 2 clubs, and did volunteer work in both high school and college.

YOU have to send them in if you took them in high school...i go to NYU and im applying to Cornell. The only thing they dont encourage is retaking them if your in college.

do you mean nyu or cornell or both?

^^^ If you took the SAT/ACT in high school, you are required to send the score to Cornell.

Gorgetown and boston college requires them to...if your looking at top schools i dont think any of the UC's or top state schools do....either does JHU

heres the policy on NYU's website..

Standardized tests are an important part of the admissions process. All applicants to NYU must provide official test scores from either the SAT, the SAT I examination or the ACT examination. If you have taken these tests more than once we will use your highest combined SAT or SAT I scores or your highest ACT scores in evaluating your application.

If you are applying as a transfer student and you took either one of these tests while in high school, you should not retake the tests now; simply submit the results of your high school SAT I or ACT examinations. If you did not take the SAT, the SAT I or ACT examinations in high school and have been in college less than one year, you must take one of these tests and submit the results as part of your application. International students who are in an area where the ACT Writing Test is not offered must take the SAT.

for cornell if you go to this site ad look under Note about standardized tests it states you dot have to send your SAT scores CALS Admissions: How to Apply

also at my college a representative came to my school and told me that i didnt have to submit my sat scores....she also said on the site it is written very vague and doesnt say u have to send them...dont no how true this is but i can always call the admissions office to clarify but anyway what do u think my chances are at

-suny binghamton
-fordham
-georgetown
-miami
-boston college
-maryland-college park
-cornell (college of agriculture and life sciences)
-nyu

My bad, I was thinking of Arts and Sciences

does anyone know my chances at these schools?it would be much appreciated

Just remember, fit at a school is more important than what it's ranked.

btw, what kinds of things do ppl major in when they're in CALS Cornell? Can ppl transfer back into Cornell College of arts and sciences after spending a year in CALS with a high GPA? and does CALS offer financial aid to international transfers?
