I've searched, but I can't seem to find the transfer rates for UMich. I'd be applying as a Junior next fall and wanted to know what criteria they look at for engineering transfers.

I'm currently a Georgia Tech Industrial Engineering major. What I regret the most is the fact that I (stupidly enough) took tough courses my first two semesters (freshman year) and ended up with a 2.52 GPA. Is there a chance for me to get in as a transfer, even if I do end up getting like a 3.8-4.0 this Fall semester?

EC's:
BRASA (Brazilian Student Association) Event Coordinator (Freshman and Sophomore)
The rest is basically community service...
MOVE Medical Assitance
Team Buzz 09 and to be 2010 Project Coordinator
etc.

I would expect that admission is competitive and you need higher than the minimum GPA, too. I transferred into the LSA and while the minimum gpa is a 3.0, the average student actually has a 3.6.

^ Yeah right now you’re below the minimum GPA so you’re not even eligible. Even if you do get a 3.8-4.0 and raise your GPA above the minimum, you still have a very low chance. I’m pretty sure you need an especially high GPA to be competitive for the CoE.
