Transfer Chances

Brings back memories of originally applying to colleges. Anyways I am from New York and currently attend Binghamton University ( SUNY BINGHAMTON) If none of you know what that is its one of the best State schools in New York. Anyways I am currently in my Sophomore year, My GPA is 2.7 Im not sure how many credits will transfer so i might have to submit my high school stats which i hope so because they really show my potential. In High school i had a 3.9/4 GPA top 10% of class with a 1220 out of 1600 SAT. I applied to the Business School. I really want to go to USF i hope i get in. I want a dead honest opinion. If im not gonna get in let me know lol.

USF accepts close to 7000 transfer students annually, so you have that going for you. USF will be looking for a minimum of 30-36 transferable semester credits. Not sure what kind of minimum GPA threshold is required, but a 2.7 might work. When I applied as a freshman I remember a USF admission advisor saying they didn’t like seeing dual-enrollment coursework GPAs less than 2.5. USF will likely want to see your high school records too. I’d say you have a good chance. Good luck.
