Transfer Chances

Transfer Chances?:

-3.9 GPA at Duke University (#5 in U.S. News and World Reports)
-Top 1.1% of high school class
-Eagle Scout
-Volunteer service
-Leadership experience
-Research experience
-Mexican-American
-One reason why I would like to transfer to Harvard is non-academic but benevolent---I'd like to work with the Boston-based Partners in Health ( pih.org ), which is affiliated with Harvard Medical School, during my time at Harvard (and, after I become a doctor, work with them in Haiti or Peru)
-Have had some disadvantages

Note: I never applied to Harvard in high school.

You would do very well at Harvard. Unfortunately all you get is a lottery ticket to get in.

it was a good book . . . deserved Pulitzer
I'm transferring to Harvard in spring 06 . . . you can PM me, but I'm pretty mystified by the whole process

You'll be applying to enter as a junior?

If you keep your GPA where it is, in a challenging curriculum, then you probably have a decent shot.
