And I understand that perfectly. I didn't go on here to here whatever makes me happy. Simply what my chances at those specific schools is. I'm still going to apply, and see what happens.

:) That's basically what I am doing as well! :) I am applying to some schools that are just impossible...

But I do have 2 back ups and 2 matches..but the 1 or 2 are just...far reach

No chance, no offense. Bring your grades up and get some EC's, you've got another two semesters.

what do you suggest for some good EC's?

I would get involved in a school club. I don't think you can go wrong with a leadership position in student government. :D

Establish a club on your campus...if you want to get into IB or IM areas, i suggest you establish a Finance Club, Investment Club, etc...if not already founded yet...

Where are you interning? is it prestigious?

I'm interning at a top 10 hospital so I'd say so :)

what does that have to do with finance? or business in general? are you merely volunteering at a hospital?

(assuming you're applying to NYU Stern)

No, as stated previously I'm working in the executive administration department at the hospital. I'll be working on an actual team that is focusing on improving certain aspects of the OR. I asked for an internship and he gave me a "real world" internship where I'll actually be working.

ummm UMich LS&A you have a chance at. I know their average is a 3.4-3.5 for transfer students. If you're going for a fashion type area, I don't think AA is really that though. It's much more laid back than NYC, and while it's the ideal college town, it won't give you the big city feel.

UMich (especially L,S&A) wants to see good writing skills from its transfer applicants...

I am sure you will get in as long as your essay isn't filled with grammatical errors, spelling errors, and nonsenses as I've seen from some who are applying to UMich.

raises hand mine was plagued with mistakes

^ forgot to send a PM to say thanks, I fixed all the corrections you said I should, and totally revamped others.

BTW, I just made my schedule even tougher this semester, will it help?
Macroeconomics Honors (3 credits)
Calculus I (4 credits)
Elementary Russian 2 (5 credits)
Seminar in Composition (Literary) (3 credits)
Nuclear Age, Nuclear War (3 credits)

that's quite the average...i have 19 credits with internship

Hmm, So I assume you're also trying to transfer to NYU? Where are you trying to transfer from?
