transfer clarification

<p>I have been asked by a relative to help her figure out where to transfer. She is a Ca resident but has been attending an out of state CC. She knows the chance of transfer is more difficult versus attending a Ca CC.
She will be finished with 60 units at the end of next summer. Summer 2010. It looks like she can not apply to transfer for fall 2010 since all classes need to be completed by Spring 2010. She will be 6 units short.
What is not clear is if the UC's or CSU's will be taking Winter or Spring 2011 jr transfers. Does anyone know if the UC's and CSU's have made any announcement regarding Winter/Spring 2011 transfers. Someone told me that they are not going to be taking any. I have searched the web but have not been able to find if this is true.
Thanks for your help</p>

<p>I know for sure that if UCSD does offer winter 2010 transfers, you must have TAP to even apply. Im not sure but i think out of state CC’s do not offer tap…</p>

<p>Tap as in tap water?</p>

<p>UCSD has TAG = Transfer Admission Guarantee.</p>

<p>…which doesn’t apply to out-of-state transfers. </p>

<p>She’s going to have to wait until next fall to transfer, but the application is up now…</p>

<p>[University</a> of California - Admissions](<a href=“http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/apply_majors.html]University”>http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/undergrad_adm/apply/apply_majors.html)</p>

<p>Grey- she can’t apply for next fall since her 60 units will not be completed till the end of the summer term. The UC site states that to apply for fall the 60 units have to be completed by Spring 2010.</p>

<p>oh crap… i meant tag… X_X</p>
