Transfer classes from a solid LAC

I go to Vassar college and im thinking of transferring. In HS I had around a B+/A- average. I was a 2 year letter winner in varsity lacrosse, and got varsity letters for cross country. I also was on the debate team and placed in national tournaments. I got a 1410 on my SATs (740/v670m) and an 800 on my SATII writing, a 750 on my SATII US history and a 730 on my SATII Literature.

In college I really picked it up academically and was very into my studies. My first semester freshman GPA at Vassar is a 3.85. I recieved 2 As and 2 A-s in my classes. I also am a member of the varsity lacrosse team. I do not plan, nor do I think I have the ability to play lacrosse at the schools that I wish to transfer to, but I think it may help in showing that I can juggle extra cirricular demands and keep a good GPA.

I am interested in applying to middlebury, washu, brown, georgetown, duke and uva. what do you think my chances at these schools would be? thanks alot

Dude, can I ask why you want to transfer. I only ask because, well, I'm also a Vassar freshman on this board.

im not sure i want to transfer, I just dont love vassar and i want to keep my options open. the student body is small and i feel that the way things are set up, you run into the same people over and over again. its also boring how everyone posseses the same political and social views. i am liberal, but i feel that alot of kids here are really overly concious of their image and it translates into close minded blind social and political perspectives. they also wont let me leave the dorm that i hate, but i perfer not to name what dorm it is. thanks, good luck with your apps and stuff.

thanks. good luck to you, if you decide to transfer.
