I am a junior right now in HS.I have a bit of financial problem so I have doubts that I am going to go to private university.I want to go to SUNY or CUNY university and then transfer after 2 years. But I have 2 problems that still remain uncovered for me
1.Do private colleges accept SUNY/CUNY transfers
2.Is there a website that gives you list of colleges and list of schools that those colleges accept transfers from/or how can I find out that the college that I want to transfer will accept my CUNY/SUNY credits

I plan to go into finance(if that changes anything).I would really apreciate your help.

Private schools accept transfer from every sort of college: Ivy League schools, state school, community colleges, etc…

On paper, it DOES NOT MATTER where you apply from. In reality, an applicant from a better state school may have a better chance than an applicant from a worse state school, but this isn’t always the case… it general, a top 50 school student might be considered better than somebody below him WITH EQUAL STATS.

Good luck!

So its basically all about stats and so far that i know the only stats you have are your clubs/teams/recommendations and gpa right?

Essays, internships, and reason for transfer are all a big deal. You won’t get in if you say “Yale is a great Ivy and a great name I can show off to my friends when I’m president.”
