Hi everyone! I am new to this site so I’m not sure how to go about get responses, but if you happen to run into this post and can help:
Two of the schools I am applying to as a transfer (Pomona and Brown) require mid term reports. Are these sent out through my school? Or do I just fill out the common app form on my own and send it to the school? Also: I have two Bs in my classes currently. I am panicking because I don’t think they will raise within the next two weeks that I need to send my grades out. Is this going to be detrimental to my application?
Typically you share the form with your registrar and then they complete it/mail to the school directly. I definitely would recommend calling the admissions offices to ask these sort of questions. In my experience (applying to both schools), they are super helpful and each has their own way of doing things!
Isn’t it a bit too early to be worrying about the mid-term report? Halfway through the term would be mid-late march.
Also, the mid-term report is a report filled out by your professors to show your progress in the class. Did you actually look at the report? This is the first line:
“Please ask each of your current instructors to complete the information below. Once you have gathered all required
signatures, mail a copy of this form to each college to which you are applying. Be sure to retain the original copy for your
records.”
