<p>I'm currently a sophomore at a D1 school playing softball, and I'm thinking about transfering to another D1 school. There are a couple reasons for transfering for academics and softball. Because I'm not 100% sure that I want to transfer, I want to explore my options a little bit before I make a decision. I've applied to a couple schools, and already been accepted to one. I need to get a letter to contact from my current school, but I was wanting to know if my current coach has to know if I request a letter to contact? I don't want this to come back to haunt me next year if I decided to stay.
Does anyone know how confidential this type of thing is between you and the AD?
