Transfer consultant?

<p>Since college transferring (particularily to competitive colleges) is so difficult, has anyone ever hired a college transfer consultant (or is currently working with one)? Any recommendations?</p>

<p>I'd assume that many college consultants can do both regular and transfer admission, but I'm guessing that there are some that have a specialty working with transfers.</p>

<p>I wouldn't waste the money. Hang around on here for a couple of weeks and really use the resources available - you will know more than most overpriced consultants. I have heard, however, that the College Confidential ones are good, but I still think most ppl opt to just use this as there is a lot of knowledge on these boards.</p>
