Any transfers know how this works? I mean, on our transcript, are the grades listed? Are they factored into GPA?

Also, do they change them to Cornell courses? For example, my General Biology course sequence is labeled 101 and 102. At Cornell, it's 107 and 108. Do they put it on my transcript as 107 and 108? And if not..how do I know if I have the pre-reqs for certain classes? Like a class saying "Pre-Req: BIOL 107 and 108" I technically wouldn't have that, right?

Also...my first General Chemistry class is listed as a Chemistry credit. My second class in the sequence is listed as a "Other Physical and Life Science Credit"...why is that?

This is for CALS.

Thanks!

Your transferred grades are not listed nor are they factored into your Cornell GPA.

Your transfer classes are not "converted" to Cornell classes. Your class are not listed on your transcript. It appears on my transcript this way:

SUNY COLL New Paltz Spring 2005
Transfer Credit Accepted 08/20/05
Total Hours 31.00

You will have the prereqs...don't worry. Your registrar will put into the system that you've fulfilled that all.

You only need 3 Chemistry credits for CALS. So anything in excess of that is listed as other physical science credits.

Okay...I see now. So when I apply to medical school I will need a transcript from my current college as well...that's how they will see the exact classes for the ones I transferred..right?

Thanks, btw.

^yes...you will need transcripts from every college you attended
