I have 31 credit hours, but i just found out that the university i plan on transferring to (UT) does not have equivalents of 7 of my credit hours, and on their transfer page they say “If you have already started your post-secondary studies at another college or university after graduating from high school or earning a GED, and have or will have earned 24 semester hours of required transferable coursework (30 hours for Summer/Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 applicants) at another college or university, apply for transfer admission.” does this mean all i need is 24 hours total, or do i have to wait till next semester after i have 30 hours to apply?? I’m really nervous because i want to know if i’m accepted ASAP.
Also, since they don’t accept some of the credits, will that still count to my GPA in their eyes? i have a 3.9, but it will be lower if they dont take those two classes because it will highlight a B i made my first semester
You need to ask the transfer admission office there about this. They will be able to answer all of your questions.
