Hey guys quick question. I got into UPenn as a transfer student and just got my transfer credit report. In the report they said that 8 out of my 9 classes will transfer. i was just wondering how this will work for GPA? Will my GPA start fresh at Penn, or will the 8 classes i get credit for count in my GPA, or will 9 of my classes count in my GPA?

Thanks

You will start fresh at Penn, mate.

It's usually what TWS says. Your Penn GPA will never incorporate the school 1 grades.

However, "your" GPA is still a combo of what you had at school 1, plus your Penn GPA. So you can continue to average each of your 4 years and track it yourself. Use it on resumes if it's to your advantage, etc.

And grad schools will ask for all your transcripts (most likely). Some employers might.
