<p>So, I just got in to Brown! I am really excited.
I have a question though regarding Transfer Credit. I have taken classes at my local community college:
Statistics
Biology
Health Education
Anatomy and Physio
Art History</p>
<p>Does anyone know if Brown generally transfers credit from community college, or is it all pretty much a wash?</p>

<p>I'm starting this semester (spring) as a transfer student from a 4 year school, and at least for me, I was specifically told that I could not transfer in credits if I spent this past semester at a community college. My guess would be no, but it might be different for incoming freshmen (which I'm assuming you are if you just got in, congrats btw) who took the classes during high school</p>
<p>Alright, thanks for the advice. I am going to send them an email and ask them I think. </p>
<p>It would just be nice to place out of the really basic classes, you know? Especially Statistics....</p>
