Transfer credit question

<p>I was looking up my summer classes and I came across something confusing. I am not sure whether or not I am going to take intro to Anthropology of Cultural Anthropology over the summer. When I used the IDA tool, it showed Cultural Anthropology as ANT 302. But, when I searched intro, it showed this: ANT 3HRS. Does anyone know what that means?</p>

<p>Also, does anyone have any recommendations about which one to take? I am not sure of the difference.</p>

<p>ANT 3HRS just means 3 hours in the anthropology discipline, but not equivalent to ANT 302. If you have to have 302 for your major, then take Cultural. If you need both (i.e. 302 and an additional 3, or more, hours in anthro) you could take either one this summer and the other back at UT.</p>

<p>Thanks for the help. I think I will just take Cultural since that is on the list of courses I can use social sciences credit.</p>
