Well, I realize credits don't always transfer from school to school, but in my case it's different.

I got accepted to SUNY Binghamton and am attending SUNY WCC right now. Although it's a community college I'd assume my credits would count, but they don't. However, I went to Hofstra my freshmen year and they counted all those credits, ***?

I'm not necessarily going to Binghamton (also got accepted to Geneseo), but it's an option I'd like to consider, but I can't consider it if a whole year of credits (they didn't show me this semesters credit evaluation, but I assume all those credits would also be 0) don't count.

I was thinking, you know, maybe they just don't have the courses I took (although they were very general courses meant to cover gen. ed. reqs.) and looked up Astronomy, which should also cover a science core, and they had it. I took another astronomy type course at Hofstra, which wasn't even a lab course (WCC one was) and even that counted!

What gives? This makes no sense to me. I thought SUNY schools would accept credits from other SUNYs and Geneseo accepted all my WCC credits, why not Binghamton?

Please, if anyone can help me here, I'd appreciate. Just any general knowledge or advice you could share. I'll be giving them a call soon, but still would like some help here.

Thanks.
