Finished my final year at a community college and was accepted to transfer at CSUSM. However, I noticed that they only accepted a maximum of
70 transfer credits but I currently have 75. Does this mean that some of my classes will be not taken into consideration - as in it was like I never took that class in the first place? Also, am I the one who gets to decide which classes I won’t transfer credits to (There were some unnecessary classes I took because the classes I needed were full)?
Maximum transferable credits is 70 units but anything over that amount is given elective credit. CSUSM determines which credits they accept not you.
