I'm an OOS transfer, and am guessing I have to wait till Calso to find out what courses will be evaluated as transferable at Cal?
I need to see if my courses taken here are equivalent to those at Cal before I register classes for the summer session at Cal. And since I'm OOS, assist.org wouldn't help me at all.
Anyone got a clue?

Best advice that can be given, and in no way a guarantee, is to compare the course title and description between the general catalogs at each campus. I like to tell students, “If you can point to the course in the UC catalog and say, ‘This is the course I took at my school!’ Most likely the course will transfer.” The title and descriptions of the course should be very similar if not exactly the same.

I also had a lot of OOS credits, and I don’t know if it’s the same at Cal, but at UCSD I’ve had to submit a few departmental petitions to get into classes. As far as getting into classes goes, my experience is that if you have done similar coursework to the prereqs and say you can manage the course then generally you will be let in.

If you’re concerned about graduation requirements, the bar might be higher.
