Transfer Credits

I am taking Dual credit Gov/Eco this year at my school through a local community college. To say the least, I have not done too well in either, due to a simple lack of motivation (Senioritis) …If I feel that I can make better grades in these two classes in college, can i decide to NOT transfer these classes over next year and just take the classes over again?

The problem is…I heard that Law School Admissions calculate one’s GPA by EVERY SINGLE course taken (even high school dual credit). To rephrase my question, is there a way I can not let anyone ever see this grade by just taking these classes again in college and acting like I never did take these dual credit classes?

ttt........

I actually have the same question, since I took Politics and Economics at a Top 40 school nearby

Ethical, nope....but you can probably get away with not reporting them.

A better option would be to report them but ask the college not to consider them for transfer credit.

Either way, you're up the river for the LSDAS. You can not report it, but if you get caught you won't go to law school--ever.

Wait, its that big a deal to not report transfer credits...darn.

Not really, but won't the ad office want to see them for admissions reasons?

Either way you can have them not considered for transfer credit, but you're still in trouble for your LSDAS gpa. I'm not sure, but I think they want to see every college level course you've taken and it IS a big deal if you don't report something they want.
