So I only got into one CSU from the ones I applied to. I want to go into Computer Science and it’s a competitive field. I wanted to know if it’s possible for me to go to the CSU I got into and then transfer out to the CSU I wanted?
If it is possible, is it the same as transfering from a CC without an admissions guarantee type of thing?
Or is it a lot harder than transfering from a CC? I really want to move to LA, but my parents aren’t too supportive of me doing CC out there.
If you try to transfer to another CSU, you may or may not get the major you want. It is harder transferring from one CSU to another.
Starting at a CC and then transferring to a CSU is the expected hierarchy. But you are already at a CSU.
So you want to leave San Bernardino and come to CSU-LA? Why??? They are equitable. Have you even visited CSULA? It will be a LOT more expensive given rents and decreased housing opportunities.

SDSU does have TAG, their CSU guarantee admission but all CC courses have to be taken at a local SD CC campus. In general, TAG refers to UC transfers. I would talk with your schools transfer advisor but CSU’s prioritize local transfers.
