Transfer decision affects graduate chances?

I was rejected for freshman admission this year. But just say I apply for transfer admission next year and get rejected again; will this decrease my chance at getting into Harvard Business School for grad school?

Graduate Admissions is a totally separate process within the university; much depends on your application, GMAT/GRE and undergraduate transcript. See: http://www.hbs.edu/mba/admissions/applicationprocess.html

Gibby’s quite right.

But, Abcd, you do realize that transfer admission to Harvard College is way more competitive than freshman admission, right? Everybody who applies to Harvard any more should think he’ll probably be denied; everybody who applies for transfer admission should think he’ll definitely be denied.

Thanks! Yeah sometimes their number of admits is only in the single digits! I’m still just gathering info, doubt I’ll apply as a transfer to Harvard though cos I’m an Engineering major, so the only “reason” to go there is prestige, which isn’t exactly compelling hahaha

No. Harvard Business School has no connection with the College and does not exchange this sort of information.
