I am planning on majoring in Political Science and possibly Economics. I am also planning on joining a frat. What are the pros and cons of each school. Also, any general thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Have you gotten into these schools already? That might make your decision a bit easier ;)

Yeah both of them

Congratulations! I’d say Penn. Its polisci is similar, but its economics department is significantly superior. Penn has frats as well as a major metropolitan area at your disposal, so frats have a role to play, but don’t enjoy a monopoly on fun.

Congratulations Ruthless!

I’m not sure how much this tells you, but I’m transferring to UPenn from Cornell.

I was just miserable in Ithaca. And it seems like Cornell students suffer from an inferiority complex - slightly annoying.

Choose Penn!!! I got into Cornell too but was choosing between Princeton and Brown. I don’t know what year you’re in but there are soooooooo many opportunities at Penn, you can even choose where you live based on your personal styles and tastes.

Plus the city is a major plus.

I chose Penn, thanks for the advice.

Anonymus, if you are fleeing from inferiority complex, then Penn might not be the best place to hide.

Because we all flee from things that are “slightly annoying”

Congrats, Ruthless!
