I'm deciding between Grinnell, Macalester, Pitzer, George Washington U, and U of Rochester.

I am a Political Science Major and Arabic is the language I will be studying.
I love to be involved and I am a track athlete.
Everything will be paid for whatever school I go to. Money isn't really an issue.
I am a minority so I do like diversity in terms of race, economic backgrounds, international, etc.
I am deadlocked between the five. They all offer like a different kind of college experience.

I recommend you not select Macalester. You indicated that you love to be involved. I think you might be dissatisfied with the overall level of involvement of the student body there and athletics are not well-supported by the student population. My daughter is transferring from Macalester in part because she, too, likes to be involved and has found that desire thwarted by the lack of meaningful campus and student sponsored outlets in the areas of her interest. She is likely transferring to GWU.

I am not that familiar with most of these schools but I did visit Pitzer. Based on my visit, I’m a bit surprised it is on your list. I felt it was a more artistic type of school, although I was impressed with their study abroad program. It also felt extremely liberal- more so than any other school I visited. I do consider myself a liberal person but not quite that extreme and I am also from the west coast. The reason I point this out is you desire to be in a diverse environment. Race, economics, origin are forms of diversity but for me- diversity of thought is very important which is what is drawing me east and in particular to DC. (loved the weather though!)
