Transfer decision

So much stress! But, I guess if I’ve made it this long…

@Ishumksy, I was accepted almost 2 weeks ago and my unofficial transcript didn’t even load yet, so don’t worry…

Good luck to all!

the only thing that has changed on mine is that there is a new financial aid message. hate waiting!

Sent my confirmation in Monday (from Bellevue) and was able to register for A&O just now. Looks like they’re going through them pretty quickly, at least for the moment. I don’t think the deluge has quite started yet.

FYI, this was in the issue of the transfer newsletter that came out yesterday.

[A]bout 1/3 of our transfer decisions were mailed in May, and those applicants have already received their decisions. Very shortly, we will be mailing decisions to the majority of those who are still waiting.

Still haven’t gotten my actual acceptance letter in the mail even though I found out on the 5th I was accepted. I have gotten the enrollment confirmation letter though, which was dated the 7th. Kind of offended they are asking me to send $272 dollars before I even get to open the letter. haha

Figure I’d throw my info up. Unofficial transcript just loaded today.

Math Major
GPA-4.0
Non-Traditional student, 1.5 years Math/Science Tutor at Wa state CC, pretty hardcore class schedule, sad panda cancer story from my past. Not sure what was important to admissions and wasn’t, but feels awesome that the wait is now over.

where do you go to see that your transcript loaded or not? all i see when i log into my application is " Application for Undergraduate Admission Transfer is currently closed." and on the bottom: “status: Payment accepted, form submitted successfully.”

currently waiting as a California transfer student for the fall!

@andrewgolucky

In MyUW go to the Admissions tab and then towards the bottom right you should see Unofficial Transcript. You can also get there from Student Finances > Financial Aid Status. The link will be at the top.

@andrewgolucky - you can check the official transcript by clicking on the academics tab on the left side of the screen, and then you will see a menu on the main screen that contains your unofficial transcript.

By the way, mine loaded this morning. I applied to the general school with business as my intended major. Transferred with 90 credits and a 3.45 GPA.

@lshumksy and @essited thanks guys!

found out my unofficial transcript has not loaded yet either. the wait continues…

@andrewgolucky- I am also a CA fall transfer student! Still haven’t heard anything and still waiting for my unofficial transcript to load. Fingers crossed!!

I will post as soon as I hear anything. I am so nervous even though my GPA is high and my major is uncompetitive (art history)!

Still nothing yet for me, to be honest I’ve already decided where I’m going because my deadlines to accept were May 1st and June 1st, so UW is too late for me, although I’m interested in whether I made it though, wish everyone who is counting on UW the best luck! :)

Just thought I would share: My D received her little gold envelope this weekend. She applied to a non competitive major. She is a transfer student with her AA degree, from a Seattle community college with a 3.1GPA.
She had previously been accept the UW-Tacoma, so had the Unofficial Transcript loaded many months ago… On Thursday, the information on there changed from UW-Tacoma to College of Arts and Science, with Pre-Arts listed as her major… Then, we received the envelope on Saturday… So, its a pretty quick turn around once that transcript loads up.

She was accepted to Seattle U, and did send in the tuition deposit… I guess she’s down the $200 because UW- Seattle really was her first choice!!

I wish you all the best!!!

Has anyone who applied from a 4-year received a decision?

I am out of state, from a 4 yr college, and non traditional. I haven’t got my letter yet and my unofficial transcript does not load.

Well, I got my rejection letter today. I’ll post some stats just because.

GPA at time of admission : 3.77 (Higher now.)
PTK Honor Society member
Was accepted into the Foster school of Business.

I’m appealing the decision, but most of my professors from my CC that would be able to provide letters of recommendation are out for the summer, so I guess I’m just going to have to suck it up and register at Tacoma.

Good luck with your appeal liszella. I’d think that your admission to Foster would help your case.

Has anybody that plans to apply to an engineering department been notified of a decision? If so, what are your stats?

The engineering application doesn’t open until the 20th and I’m thinking that general admissions is waiting for the engineering departments to make their decisions on those interested in engineering.

My unofficial transcript updated with a new college/major! I’m guessing this is indication that I was accepted. I’m OSS, previously accepted to UWT, and have yet to receive anything in the mail from Seattle. I wish everyone else luck!

I got my letter yesterday I thought it might give some hope to the people that are still waiting. My GPA is 3.35. I have done a lot of Extracurricular activities. My transcript still hasn’t loaded…
