So, when I log onto my applicant portal, it now has a button for decision. When I press it it tells me that they are unavailable on the web and to see the admissions page for updated transfer mailing dates. I don’t see this information anywhere on the page. Does anyone else have any insight into this?

Mine still says “Admission decisions are not currently available.” I’m not going to worry yet, maybe it just means your app has been reviewed and decided upon and mine hasn’t? Or it could just be a glitch on one of our pages. I’ll check again tonight. If you ever see the dates, let us know them! I’d love to know the “updated mailing dates!” Hold on… only acceptances are being mailed this year, right? So maybe it’s a good sign that yours says that! But if that theory is true, then maybe I do need to worry xD

By the way, where all have you applied? I’ve seen your name before on the Rhodes College board, where I also applied. I applied to Brown, Cornell, William and Mary, and Rhodes.

Mine also still says:

Decision: Admission decisions are currently not available.

yeah mine has a button that says “decision”. you press it and then it tells me not available online. I emailed, they said that was for freshman applicants. But it wasn’t there yesterday. They told me middle of May is when they will send the letters out.
@anthro4387- This is a real reach for me. I applied but did not finish all the requirements for Rhodes. I don’t make very much money and couldn’t afford to send my transcripts. I got a little overzealous on my apps. I did complete them for Vanderbilt, UNC Chapel Hill, Brandeis, Rutgers, Seton Hall, and American. I also applied and was accepted to UCSB, Im waiting for UCLA and UC Merced. Brown is a dream that I am 99% sure will not come true. but hey, you gotta take some shots.

also, my college report was sent, they took forever to receive it, then 2 days ago it came off my list then I got an email telling me my app was incomplete. I emailed they said to have the office fax it, I did, they still haven’t checked it off. I don;t know. All my financial aid things are done. It cost me more than I wanted to spend just to take a major reach, what with the CSS profile stuff.

Congrats on your acceptance to UCSB! I kind of regret not applying to any West Coast universities. And that really sucks about Rhodes I applied and was wait listed. Apparently transfers have to compete with wait listed freshmen for acceptance, which I don’t think is fair. Then wait listed transfers have to compete with even more wait listed freshmen, which is just dumb. Brown is a reach for me as well, but I’m still hopeful. I will most likely be at William and Mary this fall, but I’d LOVE to be at Brown. It’s my first choice hands down.
