just got housing info on my appcentral

Me too, but nothing on the admissions page

i now have the housing app too but my application hasnt been updated since the 23rd of Feb.....hows that for confusing???!!!

It's on mine too.. However, I don't think it means anything

i think it may mean something...they may be getting ready to send out the decisions for tomorrow. do yall have the health forms there too?

Yeah, I have a health form, housing form, laptop deal, and change of address icons

cool, well good luck!! I am trying to get in as a Junior transfer with a 3.7 GPA from UNCG. I think I have an ok chance. I am president of Hillel. Where are you transfering from?

Does everyone on this thread have a health form, housing form, laptop deal, and change of address icons????

or is there anyone who does NOT have it?

i only have the laptop, change of address and financial aid icons...i hope this isnt a bad thing

I have the icons and my app hasn't been updated since March 2nd. If you guys are really curious, someone should completely fill out the housing app. Clearly if they accept it, you're in. (Or so I would think.)

do you have a PID #?

yea i have a PID #

well i just hope we hear soon...but I have tried my hardest...

hopefully it will pay off...for all of us

i found this at http://help.unc.edu/?id=1687

if you scroll down it says "Individuals that are affiliated in one or more of the following categories may obtain an active PID:"

Students enrolled at UNC-CH.

Full-time or Temporary Employees of UNC-CH.

Visiting Scholars.

Distance Learners.

Retired Faculty or Staff.

Contractors working with UNC-CH.

Event Attendees.

Volunteers.

It makes it seem like we've been accepted if we can create a PID, however I don't know what "visiting scholars" implies. Perhaps that means potential transfers?

well i would think visiting scholars means exchange students...but of course i am not assuming i got in...although i will be suprised if i don't

i thought that at first but then i thought maybe distance learners implied exchange students.... im on pins and needles here i don't know about you guys

same, distance learners implies people who take online courses. for example some classes are connected with classes in other countries. are you a junior transfer?

no i am a sophomore transfer...the more i read though the more it seems like having a PID means you're in...look at this from the same webpage:

"How do I get a PID?
All persons affiliated with the University as a student, faculty, staff, or affiliate will be assigned a PID upon entrance into the University community. For more detailed information on how, where, and when PIDs are assigned please go to the How To Get a PID page"

"upon entrance into the university community" that's what sticks out for me

its very hard to get in as a sophmore transfer, but i am sure you have good stats :)
