it doesn't seem to be THAT hard... my stat's aren't that impressive (3.5 gpa college, 3.9 high school, 1200/1820 SAT's) but I have a good course load including upper level spanish classes and a person I talked to at admissions said a 3.3 gpa is competitive for sophomore transfers

you mean you are a sophmore now or you are transfering as a sophmore? b/c i have 3.85 college and 3.7 highschool and i didnt get in last year. i now have 3.7 college and am transfering as a junior

Son's site had the immunization and housing added also. He is a junior transfer--are you uncfuerst?

Sorry cross posted--you answered question

i dont think so. i mean i think everyone gets a pid. but i could be wrong. i actually hope it does mean were in.

and transfering as a sophmore isnt "very hard". they accept over 30%, its just more competitive than junior transfer.

anyway i think if you already have housing on applicant central then youre in. see if you can create an onyen...

i will be a sophomore next year. that doesn't bode well for me. are you in state or out of state? also, did you have a hard course load in high school and college?

also, how many hours did you have when you applied for sophomore admission? i'll have 40.

in state, 5 APs, but I think it really just all depends on competition, but I honestly wouldnt worry about it! my work load was average 1st semester in college and hard 2nd....but honestly i bet you have a good chance!

A friend of son's transferred last year from Wake with a 3.3 and was accepted as a sophomore.

hmmm i think i had like 42...not sure...

i think it just all depends...but i wish you all good luck! and wish me good luck as well...

haha it's hard not too worry about it but i appreciate it...i hope we all get in

when do you think we'll hear? it seems like forever...

Well I submitted my housing application and was able to sign up for an orientation time, and enter the parking lottery for transfer students. I'm not sure if this means anything. I also have a PID and PIN. Hopefullythis is a good sign. MYhousing and orientation was also confirmed. Yikes the decision is sooo close! best of luck to you guys

sounds like a damn good sign..but fingers crossed

just to clear the PID thing up....it's on everybody's summary which you can view from applicant central. EVERYONE should have one.

well that clears that up...what about housing and stuff?

well that clears that up...what about housing and stuff?

the only thing i remember hearing about the PID is that you get one when they receive things like FAFSA...sorry to burst everyones bubble, but i dont think it means any of us are in yet. GOOD LUCK to you all though!!!!!

lol I didnt mean to hit it 3 times. So I JUST got the housing and the immunization stuff up.....has anybody been given any aid?

hmmmm, i don't have fafsa but your probably right...
