Transfer deferred from UCF with 3.94

<p>Hey everyone. I am a student at a community college in south Florida and I am planning on attending UCF in the fall of 2009. I will be earning my AA in May in pre-engineering, as well as graduating from the honors program in May. My GPA is a 3.94 so far and I have also studied abroad. By May, I will have calculus 2 and physics 1 done. This semester, I am also finishing two general education requirements. Any idea why UCF deferred me? Is it because I don't have my engineering prereqs completed yet? </p>

<p>I was thinking of switching my major to philosophy which will be my double major, and that way I can be accepted "instantly" and then work later on adding the engineering major back on. I need to start applying for housing or looking at apartments and getting into Burnett and a host of other things that I can't do until I'm accepted. Any ideas on what to do?</p>

<p>They mixed up my friend's transcript too and deferred her as well. They seem to be doing that a lot. Call and make sure they haven't mixed up your transcript because you should have gotten in.</p>

<p>I belive that they are deffering all transfers until they sent there fall transcripts, so send those and you should be fine. :)</p>
