Transfer dilemma

Okay, I'm going to be a senior in high school next year and I'm starting to sink into the feeling that I might end up in community college. I've been doing great this past year and next year I'm doing a lot of different things to end my year in high school (Youth Business Olympics, Black Scholars, Internship Project, etc.) But my stats as a whole don't really look good. I messed up bad my first two years of high school so my stats don't really show consistency.
Anyway because of my grades F.I.T. is my top realistic choice but it's still a stretch. I want to do public relations in the future with a practice on fashion/entertainment so I'm applying for their Advertising, Marketing, and Communications major.
But my fears are getting to me and I'm thinking of what I might do if I get rejected. If I get rejected from there I'll probably go to a community college. I can reapply in the spring but honestly I ultimately want to go to Syracuse or BU because they have some of the best communications programs on the East Coast. If I got into F.I.T. I planned on going there for two years, get an associate from there (They have a 2+2 year program) and then try to transfer to Syracuse or BU. But if I get rejected should I just go to CC for two years then try to transfer from there to Syracuse or BU? Would I stand a chance? Or should I go to CC for a semester then transfer to FIT in the spring?
Any suggestions or feedback?
Hope that makes sense.

If you don’t get into FIT, you should go to a community college and then try to re-apply later to FIT. If you still don’t get in, you can complete your Associate’s degree (instead of at FIT) at your community college and then apply to transfer to a number of schools.

There is no downside to going to a community college if you don’t get into any of your other preferred colleges. If you get good grades and earn an Associate’s degree, nobody will care what you did in High School.
