Transfer Dorming

I am transferring in a week or two to a new college. I am Junior. One question I have, is what is the possibility or if anyone knows if anything might happen in this scenario. When I was doing my housing application, some of my transcripts from previous schools were still being evaluated and I was of sophomore status. I am actually in mid Junior year, after all my transcripts were evaluated. I am not sure if they will change me since I am not actually a sophomore, and will be rooming with a sophomore and my RA will in the same year as me. I would like to be rooming with someone of the same year as me, age doesn't matter to much since I have dealt with me being 17 and having a 25 year old roommate.

Any insight would be awesome and appreciated

You’ll have to contact the Housing office at your school. See what they can do about rooming you with another Junior.

There’s no other way to figure this out than to contact the Housing Office.

Tomorrow, pick up the telephone and call the housing office at your new school to find out if your assignment can be changed.

But, frankly, I really don’t see what the big deal is about living with a sophomore instead of a junior. You could be trading a good roommate for a bad one just because you feel you have to be with some one in the same YEAR of school. What is more important, ultimately, is that you develop a decent working relationship with this person.
